Born in a small town in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I moved to Phoenix with my parents while in elementary school and watched the city grow before my eyes. About twenty years ago, I decided I needed a change and moved to a downtown neighborhood in Tucson—I have been in love with this lovely desert city ever since. I have had a longstanding passion for architecture and design. It was shortly after moving to Tucson that I returned to school to formally study interior design at The Art Center Design College and the Southwest University of Visual Arts. I have been working in the interior design field for nearly a decade and currently serve on the board for the local chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have worked on a wide variety of projects in my career ranging from designing custom reception desks to intricate bathroom & kitchen remodels, student housing remodels, multi-family new builds, healthcare design, educational design and complete residential home renovations. I enjoy the challenge of designing a functional space, it reminds me of solving an intricate puzzle. This is why cabinetry design is so appealing to me. I love transforming underutilized spaces into functional, livable, working environments.
